Since the start of September, I’ve been feeling really excited but also kind of bummed. I’m excited about the fall, pumpkin scented and flavored everything, nights by a crackling fire while sipping hot cocoa and the holidays, but at the same time I’m bummed that the summer season is close to being over.
Probably one of the more disappointing aspects of summer being over is the end of bright, fun summer shades from our favorite makeup brands. To make way for the coming fall season, Colourpop one of my new absolute favorite affordable makeup brands, had an end of the summer sale a couple of weeks ago and I was able to stock up on some of the best summer shades for almost dirt cheap! Yay for Sales!
When I caught wind of this sale, I immediately went browsing through the sale offerings a found a lot of gems. I picked up three Lippie Stixs, two Super Shock Eyeshadows, and two Lipsticks.Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. In total I spent about $34.
#1 Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks
You all know how much I love liquid lipsticks, so when I found that some of their gorgeous liquid lipsticks were on sale, I knew I had to snag some.
Chilly Chili – This was part of their summer collection, but I personally think of it as more of a fall shade because of it’s warm and rich brown tones.
Shimmy- I’ve always been a huge fan of pinks when it comes to lip colors and this one did not disappoint. It’s the perfect pinky nude which makes it great for everyday wear.
#2 Super Shock Eyeshadows
I saw swatches of these eyeshadows on Colourpops’ snapchat and fell in love with these shades. As you can probably tell by the picture, I have been getting a lot of wear out of them because they are so beautiful and highly pigmented.
Krinkle- By far my favorite of the two, this color is a beautiful teal color with a slight glittery/shimmery effect and it doesn’t take much of this shadow when applying. Love this one!
Cop-A-Feel- This shade is much more subtle than the other one but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look beautiful on. It’s a perfect nude eyeshadow that can be used as a base or highlight….really the options are endless.
#3 Lippie Stix
These little gems are the real MVP’s because their design is so great that each one is very easy to apply without getting too much lipstick on the lips. And would you look at those hues! I MEANNNN…….
Fiesta – This shade is a nice coral color and it’s subtle enough to where it’s not too bright but also pigmented enough to notice the beauty of its hue.
Croquet- This shade is a sort of true pink color with a slight hint of red undertones.
Tickler- This is a VERY pigmented almost magenta pink color and it only takes a tiny bit of color when applying.
I don’t know about you, but Colourpop is quickly becoming one of my favorite affordable makeup brands! Let me know in the comments what you think about them!

Happy Wednesday Guys!
As you’re probably already aware, I’m all about saving money when it comes to beauty products and I truly feel that when it comes to makeup, it’s totally doable to find affordable makeup options that also have great quality!
These products I’m reviewing for you today are some recent purchases of mine that I feel like you have to try because they are SO good!
Why choose Drugstore Products?
All of these products are $12 or less at your local drugstore and they work just as well as some of the greatest higher end beauty products out there!
Since high-end brands have been getting more popular in the past few years drugstore brands noticed this and knew they had to step up there games as well and believe me, they have!
On to the review!
Loreal Voluminous Base Primer Mascara:
This first product is one of my favorite primers out there! If you want to plump up your lashes, then this primer is definitely a product you’ll want to try. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my lashes since I started using them!
Loreal Infallible Pro-Glow 24-Hour Foundation:
Okay, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard the hype about this product before and I can safely say that it’s not all hype…..it really is that good! I almost never buy drugstore foundations but when I heard people raving about it so much, I knew I had to try it out myself and I was so surprised by how much I like it! It really does last ALL DAY and the coverage is pretty great too. **PSA…. it also comes in a matte version if you have really oily skin**
NYX Ombre Blush:
If you haven’t heard of or even try NYX’s Ombre Blush, then girl….you are missing out! You can’t see it as well on camera but you can actually see the ombre effect of the blush at first glance and when you put it on, the color payoff is AMAZING! I never knew how much I needed pink blush in my life until I tried this!
Maybelline Face Studio Master Prime Base:
Although I’ve said that this pore eraser was my favorite, this face studio master primer comes in at a close second! It makes your foundation stick a lot better and smoothes out a good bit of imperfections!
Covergirl Katy Kat Eye Waterproof Mascara:
When I saw Katy Perry’s new products in collaboration with Covergirl out in stores, I was a little surprised to be honest because I wasn’t even aware that she was coming out with products so I knew I had to grab one and give it a try. I love this mascara! The formula is great for curling and adding volume to the lashes and the wand has to be my favorite out there! It has just enough thickness and dynamic design to help achieve that great lash curl! Not to mention the fact that it didn’t smudge at all! Definitely, a mush try!
Well, those are my new drugstore beauty must tries, but I would really love to hear what some of your favorites are. Make sure to tell me about them in the comments below!

You guys know how much I love masks. Well, when I learned that Loreal was coming out with clay masks and that I was going to get to try them, I was beyond excited!
To be honest, I’ve never used Loreal skincare before so I went into this with an unbiased view of Loreal skincare products.
Breakdown of Products:
Loreal Pure-Clay Masks: The three clay masks I got to try were the Eucalyptus, Charcoal, and Red Algae masks.
All three products are made with a powerful blend of 3 pure clays and enhanced with natural source ingredients.
They’re so easy to apply….. just apply an even layer to clean dry skin and leaving on for 10 to 15 minutes then rinse off with water. *Make sure to avoid the eye and lip area when applying*
This was the first mask I used and I have to say, my I wasn’t disappointed. As I was wearing the mask I could feel it tightening my skin and the next day I felt I could see a small improvement in my pores and I wasn’t as oily. Not too bad Loreal!
Why is this mask right for me?
- Draws out build-up of impurities, dirt and oils
- Absorbs impurities and unclogs pores
- Reduces excess shine
- Refreshes and allows skin to breathe
I used this mask on the second try (although I did space out trying the masks at least a week between) and since I have used charcoal products before, I kind of knew what to expect. Definitely made my skin look better and gave my skin that “glow”. Another great one!
Why is this mask right for me?
- Draws out build-up of impurities, dirt and pollution
- Reduces dull skin and increases luminosity
- Evens out skin tone
- Refreshes and allows skin to breathe
Red Algae Mask:
This was the last mask that I tried and I’m still kind of on the fence about it. While it was a great exfoliator and made my pores shrink a little bit, it did unfortunately make my skin breakout. To be fair, I have really sensitive skin so anytime I use a product my skin isn’t used to my skin freaks out. Since I’m still on the fence about this one, I’m going to give it a solid B-.
Why is this mask right for me?
- Draws out build-up of impurities, dirt and oils
- Unclogs and tightens pores
- Exfoliates dead skin cells and smoothes imperfections
- Refreshes and allows skin to breathe
Now that you’ve heard what I think about these new masks from Loreal, I want you to tell me below…. Are you willing to try them out and if so which one?
Don’t forget to visit me on all my socials (icons at the top of my blog) and you can also follow me on snapchat :echanningblog.
It feels so strange typing this because as you may (or may not) have noticed, I’ve been absent from this blog for a little while, so I feel kind of rusty. To put it simply, I just really needed a break from blogging and I also had some other life events happening around the same time which needed my attention.
First of all, I just started school which I’m really excited about! I was sort of a late bloomer when deciding whether or not I wanted to go to college. Better late than never I guess!
Since I started school again, I’ve felt really overwhelmed by all the schoolwork so, my blog has taken a hit. I’m really sorry for that and I hope you do keep coming back because I promise, things are going to start getting back to normal around here soon!
Even though I haven’t really published a post in a while, I have been doing some behind the scenes work on new posts and content for the blog and that will all be coming very soon which I’m very excited about!
Without any further rambling, I’m just going to go ahead into this new post!
Breakdown of the products:
As I’ve stated before, I’m all about saving money especially when it comes to beauty, and I really feel that you shouldn’t always have to shell out a pretty penny just to get a good beauty product so I’ve decided to share with you some of my favorite beauty bargain buys that I always run back to when I need a cheaper alternative to some of my favorite beauty products.
Loreal Voluminous Superstar Waterproof – This first product is my holy grail eyelash product that I use constantly and is totally worth the value! There’s actually a hack I have for using it to get a false lash look that I will be doing very soon so, be on the lookout for that!
Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser- I don’t know about you, but my pores are my biggest concern when it comes to my skin and I’ve still not found a great product for getting rid of them, but I have found a product that minimizes them and that’s what is great about this primer! If you’ve ever used the NYX pore filler or any of those other great primers at Ulta, then that will give you an idea of how this works and it’s cheap too!
NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator- Speaking of NYX, their liquid illuminators range is a must try! Is it just me or are highlighters really having a moment this summer?!? I’ve been using this in the color sunbeam and it gives a really good “glowing” effect to your skin that you really want in a highlighter. Um yeah….and it’s also cheap too!
Sinful Colors Kylie Jenner Denim and Bling Collection- I’ve used the Sinful colors nail polish before and I’m kind of sort of in love with them. The collaboration they have with Kylie Jenner makes me love them even more because as we all know……girl has good taste! I picked up the color Hello Halo from the range and in my humble opinion, I think it’s the perfect shade of white! Perfect for summer!
NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick- Again from NYX (because they’re just that great), another great find is their matte liquid lipsticks range! I love a good matte liquid lipstick and the color range from NYX KILLS IT in this area! This particular one is in the color Tea & Cookies and it’s a nice pop of pink in matte form!
Wet N Wild Megalast Nail Polish – I’m including another nail polish into this list because this one is my all time favorite from the drugstore! Not only is this nail polish very affordable and has the perfect nude and blush shades but the color payoff is amazing! This particular color is in the shade sugar coat.
So those are some of my absolute favorite drugstore beauty products, let me know which ones are you favorite below!

When it comes to the lips, I’m a lipstick girl all the way. It’s not that lip glosses are any less effective at giving a beautiful lip color, it’s just that I don’t like the sticky feeling on my lips. Now that the geniuses behind beauty products have started creating liquid lipsticks, I feel I can have the best of both worlds without compromising my comfort.
Getting the chance to try out Studio Gears’ True Whipped Gloss Stain line, was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. While these are described as Whipped Gloss Stains’, I see them as more of liquid lipsticks because the colors rival that of other popular liquid lipsticks (ahem, you know the ones I’m talking about ;)) .
Before I get into the specifics of what you should know when researching this product, let’s just take a moment to appreciate their beauty.
Who Is Studio Gear?
If you’re not familiar with Studio Gear, they are a cosmetics company who believes that your makeup should work for you and they’ve formulated their products to be professional makeup artist quality but still accessible to all women through their own expression and confidence.
They have so many different products that are worth checking out as well such as foundations, concealers, primers, eyeshadows, mascaras, liners, blushes (& brushes) and even skincare products.
(My Favorite Shade// True Pebble)
(Second Favorite// True Fuchsia) see at the bottom for all shade names.
What Do I Think?
I’ll be honest with you, when I first opened these glosses and took them out of their pretty little packaging, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of these glosses because I didn’t think they were going to come in such a big size. I mean, they aren’t huge but they’re a nice size for the amount of product you get.
I also love how sleek the packaging is. I’ve seen a lot of glosses that might have a great formula, but the design of the packaging is awful. Studio Gears’ nailed their design. It’s pretty evident in the pictures just how good it looks.
Another pleasant surprise that I didn’t see coming was the fact that all of the shades are highly pigmented. Oh, and I Love, LOVE the fact that shade you see on the packaging and outside the box are exactly Identical, so you know what you’re getting.
How Does It Wear?
Whenever I read reviews on products a lot of times I tend to skip straight to the part of the review where you find out whether or not the product works as described. I’m sure that’s why you came to this section as well, so I’ll cut to the chase. Here’re the positives:
- Easy application
- SUPER- pigmented
- Long- lasting (no really!)
- Velvety texture
- Nice color range
- A tad bit drying
- Price point is not my favorite
I thought I would elaborate a little bit more on each point of interest. So for the positives, let’s start with the easy application. When I said I was a lipstick girl earlier, there still is a downside to applying with regular lipsticks. The sticks tend to be too wide which makes it hard to apply in very narrow corners of the lips.
With the liquid lipsticks and this brand, in particular, the doe foot applicator makes narrow corners or any other hard to reach corners easy to get to. No more uneven lipstick! Win!Win!
Pigmentation is so important when it comes to makeup because if it takes more application of a product to get visible color, then you end up running out of the product quicker than you should and that’s another thing that makes me love these glosses!
I’m sure duration is super important to you when it comes to lipstick. You’ve found exactly that with these glosses and I say that with the utmost sincerity because I’ve been applying these glosses early in the morning every day and by 5 p.m. there’s still color present. Yes, it may not be as apparent as when you originally applied it, but there will still be visible remnants of a stain which is kind of what this gloss is anyway.
Ok lastly, let’s talk about the velvet texture and color range I spoke about earlier. When I said that these glosses have a velvet texture, I was referring to how matte they are. I myself prefer a matte lipstick over one with sheen. I know this may seem insignificant to some, but it’s a top priority on my go to makeup list.
As far as the negatives go, I said that these glosses can be a tad bit drying, but I made sure to say tad bit because they aren’t drying enough that I would rant about it. They aren’t super moisturizing but they do feel silky with only a slight bit of drying feeling. If you want to read about the price, then skip to the next part.
I Bet You Want To Know About The Price…..
I couldn’t end a review without mentioning the price because if you look at all my other posts and my about page, you’ll see that having affordable beauty options is one of my main goals. Yes, I listed the price as a negative when I listed the positives and negatives, however, I decided to go ahead and add these on my blog because Studio Gear is actually going to give all Echanning readers a discount for buying their first product, (skip below for coupon code) so I feel it fits perfectly with my blog values.

What’s one thing all beauty-obsessed women have in their arsenal? A nude palette. That’s what.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of years, you’ve probably heard a beauty blogger or beauty YouTuber talk about their love of nude palettes. The nude palettes that all seem to rave about, Urban Decay’s Naked, Bobbi Brown’s Nude on Nude palette, or Maybelline’s the nudes might all come to mind.
While I LOVE all of these brands and hope to own them all one day, let’s be real here. Some of us can’t afford to shell out those kinds of price tags very often. I budget, ALL. The. Time. Rarely do I ever have tons of money left over after all the essentials are paid, to be spending on those high-priced versions.
Over the years, I’ve become super money savvy when it comes to beauty, just take a look at these nails I did for example. So If you are SICK & TIRED OF PAYING FULL PRICE FOR A GREAT NUDE PALETTE, then this post is for you.
I’ve found two eyeshadow palettes that are just as good as those pricier ones, but for a 1/8th of the price!
The nude palettes I’m talking about are the L.A. Colors Day To Night eyeshadow palettes.
The first eyeshadow palette, Daylight, has a lot of warm colors such as rose, bronze, sand, and some great night looks as well with purples, and coppers and dark browns.
The second palette, Dawn, has a lot of nice rosy colors with hints of metallic, teal, deep purples, and some smokey colors such as deep browns and silvers.
What I like About These Palettes…..
So apart from the price, which I’ll talk more about in a minute, my favorite thing about these palettes is the variety of smokey/nude colors that make it easy for you to go from day to night, hence the name of them.
I also like the fact that they tend to stay on all day and pair great with subtle and even statement makeup looks.
What I don’t Like About These Palettes……
While the price is great (more info in a minute), the downside to these palettes is that it takes A LOT of product to get a more noticeable color payoff. Some of the shades aren’t pigmented enough to be used in a look, so I mostly use those for highlighters on my brow bone.
I also wish the packaging was a lot more practical. The top of the palette clicks too tightly together with the bottom part, which makes it hard to open. Other than those two things….. I would say these palettes are fairing very well!
How Much Does It Cost & Where Can I buy Them?
The BEST NEWS you’ll probably hear in a long time is that these eyeshadows are super cheap! I got both of mine from the Dollar General for $1 a piece. Yep! You heard that right! A DOLLAR A PIECE!
As far as where you can buy them, I went to their website and found some more places you can buy them at besides Dollar General. They’re listed below.

Here’s What The Colors Look Like On….
So now that you’ve seen these nude palettes? Do you think it’s worth trying out? Tell me your favorite cheap makeup products below!
Ok, I know that’s a bold statement but if you stick around long enough, you’ll find out why. As someone who constantly blogs about skincare products, you would probably have figured out by now that skin care is important to me. Not only does a great skincare routine ensure that your skin looks better but it is ESSENTIAL for fighting the signs of aging. Sheet masks are perfect for that!
The Reason Good Skin Care Is Important…..
Because as we age, and I’ll spare you the long drawn out, scientific explanation, our skin looses elasticity so it becomes even more important to stay hydrated. Hydrated skin will remain flexible and allow our protective barrier to remain intact.
Since When uses bio-cellulose sheets, the hydrating formula is able to work more effectively than most skin products when it comes to hydration. I’ll talk more about that in a minute.
When I got this in the mail the other day I immediately opened one up and tried it because I had a long day and needed some R&R.
The packaging is sleek with a nice design and light weight which is great for traveling. Each “package” contains 1 sheet mask with instructions on the back on how to apply.
Snow Magic –
Which comes in the blue packaging, has aloe vera which is a great natural ingredient for calming and soothing skin.
Which comes in the green packaging, (my favorite) has a nice coconut scent and uses the coconut base to even out skin tones and provides a great base for applying makeup.
Who Is When?
In their own words….
“When, launched by J.C People in July 2011, is a premium face mask brand taking extra care of your skin at anytime, anywhere, in any situations. High-quality and unique, our face masks have been receiving overwhelming responses from overseas buyers. Headquartered in Korea, we have successfully started our international expansion in November 2012 by launching in the US via the world’s largest cosmetics sales channel, Sephora. We have further expanded to reach Europe, China, and the Middle East. We strive to become a worldwide leading face mask brand.
Our mission is to develop and deliver sustainable, high value-adding products with innovative functions and creative design. We want to offer reliable products with:
1) low irritation risk and 2) high effectiveness that consumers can buy with 3) confidence.”
How To Use…..
Wash your face with a gentle skin cleanser and dry before applying the mask. There’s three layers of this sheet mask, so I would suggest first taking the hardest layer on the back off. This will reveal the jelly-like formula that’s infused with the mask.
Place the exposed formula side carefully onto your face and position it so that it forms perfectly to the shape of your face avoiding your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Lastly, peel of the front layer. This last layer is kind of hard to see because it’s more transparent than the first hard layer located on the back.
So, to recap how to put the mask on, you peel the hard part of the back and the transparent thin part off of the front, so basically, the actual mask will be in the middle of those two.
The mask instructions suggest removing the mask after 30 minutes. You can follow their directions and that’s fine but I left mine on for 2 hours and felt like I got more out of it when I left if on that much longer (don’t be alarmed if the mask feels a bit tight after the 2 hours, it won’t hurt when you peel it off).
8 Best Things About This Product……..
- Easy to Use
- No parabens, sulfates, or phthalates
- VEGAN & GLUTEN FREE!!!!!
- Feels amazing one!
- My skin has never looked better!
- Affordable ( only $7 at Sephora) !!
- Bio-Cellulose sheets have proven to be gentle enough to use on burn patients!
Finally, The Results……
Before I get into the results I need to tell you a little bit of background info first. I’ve never talked about one skin problem that has actually been the BIGGEST problem to me when it comes to my skin imperfections.
No, it’s not dryness or acne or oiliness or any problems such as those that most people deal with. My biggest insecurity with my skin is my skin tone. It’s uneven and very red due to years of my ignorant non-use of sunscreen.
Seriously, I used to go to a tanning salon when I was a teenager and tan for hours on end with no sunscreen what so ever and mind you, I did all of this while also being on acne products that contained salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide! If you’ve ever had to deal with any form of acne in your life, then you know this is a huge MISTAKE!
Ever since then no matter how many products I’ve tried or how much sunscreen I wore, nothing could completely relieve me of my redness!
I’ve tried sheet masks in the past and while some of them did hydrate my skin, they did nothing to rid me of the redness. That is until I tried the Glamour Base mask that I’m talking about today!
I can’t even tell you how relieved I am to finally have found a product that can help me with this!! I know you’re probably thinking that because I got this for free, I must be lying. I swear on my life that it is that GOOD!
I liked Snow Magic as well but Glamour Base is what really did it for me!
Where Can I Buy It?
I know that after hearing me sing their praises in this post you’re probably wondering, “Well, where can I get one Channing?” Below is a list of places where you can find it.
Anthropologie (Online Only)
Beautychoice.com (Online Only)
Birchbox (Online Only)

***This is a sponsored post. I recieved this product from When Masks Via Brandbacker. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own and honest.***
Ever since spring has hit, I’ve been super focused on getting healthy and fit. I know, I know….how cliche of me lol.
I’ve been exercising every day for at least 30 mins & eating “healthy” foods. That’s been the number one reason for changing my eating habits, but I also was motivated for another reason.
Recently, I’ve felt like the universe has been sending me signals (I’m not crazy, I promise) in the way of videos and social media content talking about animal abuse. One in particular that stood out to me was a sweet little dog named baby who was abused by a sick person.
I was torn because I sort of wished I hadn’t seen the video, but also I think it needs to be seen so these individuals can be put to justice. If you have a little bit of time, I would appreciate if you would sign this petition.
Long story short, I’ve been more conscious of the foods I eat & I want to attempt to go the vegan route which is why I wanted to share this vegan brownie recipe with you and even if you’re not trying to go vegan, it’s a super healthy recipe for getting into shape.
This was my first time really trying out a vegan recipe and I have to say, it took A LOT of trial and error to get it right. The original recipe which can be found here, had only three ingredients and while it might work and be easy for some people, I found that I had to make some tweaks of my own to get it to the taste that I like.
If you’re like me and love sweets, the original recipe won’t be sweet enough for you, but with a couple additions, I think it’s totally doable.
Last year, I made these brownies which are what inspired me to try out the vegan version.
Another thing I definitely want to stress is that before you get started, make sure you have some sort of nonstick spray or vegan butter because I didn’t and those puppies stuck like cement!
***Update: Please Read***
Given that this is my first time experimenting with vegan recipes and veganism itself, I’m still learning what is and is not considered vegan. After reading a comment from a reader, I’ve found out that my addition of honey is not correct in keeping with vegan standards, so if you want 100% vegan, just leave out the honey and thanks to Jenny, I now know that you can substitute with flax or chia “egg” which is 1 TBSP ground flax or chia and 3 TBSP of water mixed. Once left it becomes a thick gel and it great for binding. Sorry for the misinformation!
Without any further ado, here’s that recipe!
- 3 medium, bananas (the recipe calls for overripe, but I found that mashing them down with a fork in a bowl did just as good)
- 1/2 cup smooth almond butter, (or any other smooth nut butter)
- 2 tbps – 1/4 cup cocoa powder (darker cocoa taste’s better)
- 1/4 cup Stevia in the raw
- 3 tbsp Honey (I’ve found that it acts as a great glue for holding the ingredients together)
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 9×9 inch glass baking dish or small cake pan or loaf pan and set aside.
- In the microwave (I found this to be the quickest & easiest) melt the nut butter for about a min.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the bananas, nut butter, cocoa powder, stevia and honey (make sure you mix well. I used my food processor to mix it together really well.)
- Pour the mixture into the greased dish or pan and bake for 20 minutes (depending on how fast or slow your oven cooks.)
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing into pieces.
Let me know if you try out this recipe and in the comments, tell me your favorite healthy dessert recipe!
In my last post on Valentia products, I talked about how even though I’m only in my 20s, I’m trying to be hyper-vigilant about protecting my skin from the effects of aging. That hasn’t changed but with each passing year, I become even more aware of how much older I’m getting. I know it might sound silly to some of you, but I kind of feel like the quarter-life crisis is a real thing. Just me?
When I was asked to do another review on one of Valentia’s skin care products, I didn’t hesitant in participating because I’m always on the lookout for new and great skincare products. I’m still using my true glow eye cream and ultra hydration plumping mask, but I know there’s still more problem areas that need to be addressed.
The Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum is a lactic acid serum that supports natural circulation for an overall youthful and refreshed complexion.
- Renews texture & tone
- Deeply moisturizes
- Minimizes fine lines
- Increases elasticity
- Brightens & plumps fine lines
- Evens hyperpigmentation
What really draws me to Valentia’s products is the fact that they’re made with natural & organic ingredients. As mentioned below:
– Wakame Bioferment (Seaweed): Increases skin oxygen consumption to detoxify and boost antioxidant defense.
– Gotu Kola: Lessens the appearance of scars and increases skin firmness.
– Lactic Acid: A natural Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that increases skin cell turnover, for healthier renewed skin.
– Licorice: Lightens unwanted pigmentation and corrects skin discoloration.
– Argan Oil: Naturally rich in Vitamin E, this oil reduced water loss and protects skin’s resiliency and elasticity.
This serum comes in a bottle that is similar in size to the true glow eye cream, so if you’ve purchased that before then you’ll have an idea of how much of the product you’re getting.
It comes with a pump just like the eye cream and what I’ve been doing every night before I go to bed is first washing my face with a gentle cleanser. Then I will apply the ultra hydration plumping mask for about 15 minutes and brush my teeth while I’m waiting on the mask.
After that, I will dab the true glow eye cream on my eyes and finish off with the clear lift revitalizing serum. I pump about a quarter sized amount into the palm of my hands and then dab what is in my palm onto different parts of my face such as my forehead, cheeks, nose, chin and neck. Then I rub everything in so that it is blended well and soaks into my skin.
Here’s the tricky part. I have mild acne, so I can’t just use anti-aging products alone. After I’ve applied everything (the serum being the last step) I will wait for the serum to dry onto my skin and then use my preferred acne products. What’s so tricky about this, is that you’ll need to test a little bit on your skin first just to make sure you won’t have a bad skin reaction because you can never be too careful when combining two different skin care products.
I tested mine on a small patch to begin with just to make sure my skin wouldn’t react negatively and it didn’t which is why I didn’t have a problem using the two together.
I would also consider waiting for the product to dry before laying your head down on your pillow just in case of any stains or anything. Again, you never can be too careful.
I’ve been using this product for about 2 weeks now, and although the changes in my skin are only slightly different, I do think it’s worth the investment if you’re looking for a natural skin care product!
